How much ZEC the Zcash ETF holds, and what share of circulating supply that is. The vehicle launched in 2017 as the Grayscale Zcash Trust (OTC: ZCSH) and was certified for listing on NYSE Arca on 2026-08-24. Figures come from the trust’s own SEC filings (XBRL company facts, CIK 1720265), so they are reporting-period values — roughly quarterly back to 2019 — not daily. That is a limit of the source, not of this chart: the issuer publishes no API, rate-limits automated fetches, and has declined since 2022 to publish custody addresses or on-chain proof of reserves, so the balance cannot be read off the Zcash chain the way the rest of this site reads everything else. Two feeds: the SEC filings give the quarterly backbone, and the fund’s own daily disclosure page — which a listed ETF must publish — gives a point per day from 2026-08-27 onward. Daily history cannot be backfilled, because that page only ever shows the current session, so the series is quarterly before that date and daily after it. The bottom panel is net flow: the CHANGE in holdings between one observation and the next, as bars around zero. It is not divided into a per-day rate, because the gaps are uneven and doing so would dress a quarter’s fee drift up as a confident daily number. Points are drawn as marks rather than a smooth line so the sampling is visible. Coins held and share of supply sit on separate panels because they are different quantities; this site never puts two scales on one pair of axes. Watch the two together: holdings can fall while the share of supply holds steady, because the sponsor fee is paid in ZEC and issuance keeps adding to supply.
