Pool balance × that day's ZEC price. So a pool's dollar value falls on a price drop even if not one coin left it, and rises on a rally while the pool empties. Always check the ZEC balances before concluding anything about behaviour — that chart is the one that answers “did value move”, and this one answers “what is it worth”.
Price is the one input here we do not compute ourselves. Balances come from the node and are exact; the price is an external observation, so every dollar figure on this page inherits that.
