Every fee paid to Zcash miners, added up over a day, a week or a month. This is the whole network’s fee bill. What a single transaction cost is a different question, answered by the Fee Distribution chart.
Each day here is that day’s mean fee times the number of transactions that paid one. In dollars, each day is priced at its own ZEC close. An old month is therefore worth what it was worth then, not what those coins would fetch today.
The weekly and monthly bars add their days up. A period that has not finished yet is left out, because a part-period total reads low and would look like a collapse. Fees matter because they are the part of the miner’s reward that does not halve. As the block subsidy falls, this is the line that has to replace it.
Total Fees Paid / Day was $6,809 on 2026-09-27, the last full day of data. That is 343.2% higher than 28 days ago, when it was $1,536.
